The first step to getting your medical card in Michigan is to create an account and register with the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Don’t listen to companies that claim they can get you a MMMP Card for you. The only legal way to get a card is for you to apply through the state’s official government website. You can create an account by clicking on the button below:

While there are some Michigan doctors who will agree to do a consultation about how cannabis can help you, it’s much easier to find a dedicated Michigan medical marijuana doctor. Since there is no list of MMJ doctors provided by the state, we recommend that you go with a doctor we trust right here in Lansing:

Once you have been recommended medical marijuana from a doctor, the final step is to complete and submit your application using the LARA account you made earlier. There is a $60 application fee, and you must prove that you are a resident of Michigan by uploading one of the following documents:

  • Michigan ID card
  • Michigan driver’s license
  • Signed Michigan voter registration card
